Here are some pictures of our House and Garden. We are located on the beautiful, luscious North Shore of Maui, Hawaii.The 2-acre estate sits on top of a hill with sweeping ocean views that include the island of Molokai on the horizon
Haiku itself is the pineapple center of Maui. Old canneries have been converted into artist shops and local craft manufacturing. There is shopping and excellent restaurants within five minutes from our grounds. You'll find it's very quiet here. The usual sounds are the wind blowing and the birds singing.
The islands top wind surfing beach, perhaps the worlds, Ho'okipa, is five minutes away and Jaws, of awesome repute, is at the bottom of the street. One of Hawaii's great sand and swimming beaches, Baldwin, is ten minutes away. We are one mile off the road to Hana and five minutes from waterfalls and hiking.
To get here from the airport take the Hana Hwy. #36 towards Hana, you will pass thru Paia Town, by Mama's Fish House, Ho'okipa Wind Surf Beach, and the Haiku Community Center, after passing cemetery on left coming up hill you will see the 13 mile marker on the right, shortly after that will be E. Kuiaha on your right, it comes at the end of a road cut in the hillside so is hard to see till you’re there. Turn right up the hill, only way road goes, for one mile, there is a green mailbox on the left with 669 and Haiku Palms on it, also a big Kapu sign.
